Most Anticipated Books of 2014: New Series

To continue with the little TBR builder I've been running, here are some more exciting books to look forward to. These are the 2014 books that start off new series (but non-debuts) that I'm most excited to get my hands on.

The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski.
After the End by Amy Plum.
Death Sworn by Leah Cypess.

Sea of Shadows by Kelley Armstrong.
Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott.
The Inventor's Secret by Andrea Cremer.

Avalon by Mindee Arnett.
The Young World by Chris Weitz.

The currently coverless:
The Goldscryer's Saga #1 by Rae Carson.
The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson.
Earth & Sky by Megan Crewe.
The Young Elites by Marie Lu.
Talon by Julie Kagawa.

Any of these books topping your lists for 2014? Any of them new to your TBRs? Did I miss any that I should definitely add to my TBR?

  1. I can't wait for all these either! After the End looks really good, I quite like the cover. I didn't know that these would be series, but that shouldn't surprise me nowadays. Sea of Shadows, Winner's Curse...both amazing-looking books! I haven't heard of Death Sworn, but now I'll be adding that to my TBR! Great list!

    1. I'm quite sure all of these are the beginnings of series. But yes, I do really like the cover for After the End as well. It seems there are some fantasy series coming that look fantastic, like TWC and SoS. Hopefully they turn out great! And I'm glad to have introduced you to Death Sworn, I think it sounds fabulous!

  2. I too am looking forward to Sea of Shadows and After the End as well. I'm not sure how I feel about Avalon yet...we shall see. I'm not a huge fan of space books. Great list!

    1. Those two are definitely two I'm really, really looking forward to. They both sound so good! I'm still pretty new to space books, so I'm hoping Avalon will give me a good impression!

  3. Great list! Most of these are on mine as well. Looking forward to Sea of Shadows and Avalon for sure. Thanks for sharing and Happy new Year :)

    1. They certainly sound like they have a lot of promise so I'm really hoping they live up to it! Happy New Year to you as well! :)

I'd love to hear what you think!
