Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly feature created by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This is where you showcase an upcoming release you're anxiously awaiting!
This week, I'm waiting on:
Expected Publication: July 16, 2013
by Penguin/Philomel
Goodreads Blurb:
In Renaissance Italy, love, lust, intrigue and secret societies converge to stunning results! In the second in the stunning Secrets of the Eternal Rose series, Cassandra Caravello is trying to forget Falco, the wild artist who ran off with her heart, as she grows closer to her strong, steady fiancĂ©, Luca. But Luca seems to have his own secrets. When he’s arrested by soldiers in the middle of the night, Cass’s life is once again thrown into chaos. She must save Luca, and that means finding the Book of the Eternal Rose—the only evidence that will prove he’s innocent.
So begins her journey to Florence, a city haunted by whispers of vampirism, secret soirees and clandestine meetings of the Order of the Eternal Rose. And home to Falco, who is working for the Order’s eerily stunning leader, the Belladonna herself.
Can Cass trust her heart to lead her to the truth this time?
Nothing is as it seems in this seductive thriller, where the truth may be the deadliest poison of all.
Another sensual edge-of-your-seat romance thriller that's just as alluring as Venom.
Why I'm excited: I absolutely LOVED Venom. One of my favourite books of last year. It was so beautiful. I am so impatient for this one! More Renaissance Italy! More mystery! More Falco! I need it!
What are you waiting on this week?
I need this one!!!!!

I'm SO excited to read it!
DeleteOooo, Belladonna! I actually got a print ARC back in October, on the release day of Venom, actually. I won it (otherwise, I wouldn't be getting any!) from the publishing company. I'll be reading it closer to the release date! :D
ReplyDeleteCheck out my WoW post!
That's awesome! I got an ARC in the mail this week and I'm DYING to start reading right this second! Eep! :D
DeleteOooh this one actually sounds really interesting! I'll be adding it to my TBR list. Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't read VENOM, the first one, yet... I completely recommend it. My review of it was full of gushing!
